# Create AI-Optimized Content with Content Studio

> Generate SEO- and AEO-ready blog posts and social content in CogNerd's Content Studio, powered by competitor insights and intent classification.

Content is one of the most direct ways to improve your brand's AI search visibility. The more high-quality, structured content that exists about your brand online, the more AI platforms have to draw from when generating answers. CogNerd's Content Studio runs your topic through a multi-stage pipeline — analyzing search intent, pulling in competitor insights, and generating a ready-to-publish markdown post — so you skip the blank page and start with something that's already optimized.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Content Studio">
    In the left sidebar, click **Content**, or navigate to `/dashboard/content`. Any content you've previously generated is listed here in your history.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a content type">
    Select the format you want to generate:

    <Tabs>
      <Tab title="Short blog (10 credits)">
        A focused, concise blog post ideal for targeting a specific question or keyword. Best for: FAQ-style content, product comparisons, and quick how-to pieces. Costs **10 credits**.
      </Tab>

      <Tab title="Long blog (30 credits)">
        A comprehensive, long-form article with deeper coverage of a topic. Best for: pillar content, brand authority pieces, and in-depth guides. Costs **30 credits**.
      </Tab>

      <Tab title="Social content">
        Short-form content formatted for social platforms. Useful for repurposing blog topics into shareable posts. Credit cost varies by format.
      </Tab>
    </Tabs>

    <Warning>
      Credits are deducted when the generation job starts. Check your balance under **Credits** in the sidebar before running.
    </Warning>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your topic or brand focus">
    In the topic field, describe what you want the content to cover. Be specific — a focused prompt produces better output than a broad one.

    **Examples:**

    * `How [Your Brand] helps e-commerce brands track AI search visibility`
    * `Comparing llms.txt vs traditional SEO for brand discovery in AI answers`
    * `What is Answer Engine Optimization and why it matters in 2025`

    Click **Generate** to start the pipeline.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Let the pipeline run">
    CogNerd processes your topic through five stages:

    1. **SEO analysis** — identifies related keywords and search intent signals
    2. **Competitor insights** — pulls in what similar brands are ranking for
    3. **Intent classification** — determines whether the query is informational, navigational, or transactional
    4. **Content generation** — writes the post optimized for both human readers and AI indexing
    5. **Quality evaluation** — scores the draft and refines it before delivery

    Generation typically completes within a minute or two for short posts and a few minutes for long-form content.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review and publish your content">
    When generation is complete, the finished markdown post appears in the editor. Review it, make any edits you want, and then publish it to your site.

    <Note>
      The output is plain markdown, so it's compatible with any CMS that supports markdown — including WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, Notion, and static site generators like Next.js or Astro.
    </Note>

    Your content history is always accessible from `/dashboard/content`, so you can revisit, copy, or reference any previously generated post.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  For the strongest visibility impact, publish content to your own domain rather than a third-party platform. AI models weight content on your primary domain more heavily when building brand associations.
</Tip>

<Info>
  Content Studio works best when you already have a brand added and have run at least one Brand Analysis. The competitor insights stage pulls from your tracked competitor data, so the more context CogNerd has, the more targeted the output.
