Adding a brand is the first thing you do in CogNerd. Once your brand is registered, you can run an AI visibility analysis to see how — and whether — your brand appears in AI-generated answers across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, and more. The whole setup takes under five minutes, and your first analysis results start streaming in shortly after.

Sign in to CogNerd

Go to app.cognerd.in and sign in to your account. If you don’t have an account yet, create one from the same page.

Open the Brands dashboard

In the left sidebar, navigate to Brands or go directly to /dashboard/brands. This is where all your registered brands live.

Add a new brand

Click Add Brand and fill in the two required fields:
  • Brand name — the name of your company, product, or personal brand exactly as it appears publicly (e.g., “Acme Corp”)
  • Website URL — your primary domain (e.g., https://acme.com)
Click Save when done.
You can add multiple brands if you manage more than one. Each brand is tracked and analyzed independently.

Run a Brand Analysis

With your brand saved, click Run Analysis. This triggers a full Brand Analysis, which does two things:
  1. Scrapes your web presence — CogNerd crawls your site and public brand signals to build context
  2. Queries AI platforms — it asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and 10+ other platforms about your brand and records every mention, citation, and recommendation
Each Brand Analysis costs 30 credits. Make sure you have enough credits before running. You can check your balance under Credits in the sidebar.

Watch results stream in

Results appear in real time as the analysis runs — you don’t need to wait for it to finish or refresh the page. You’ll see your AI Visibility Score, a platform-by-platform breakdown, mention counts, and source attribution as data comes in.The full analysis typically completes within a few minutes depending on the number of platforms queried.
Run a Brand Analysis right after adding your brand to get a baseline visibility score. You can then compare this score after deploying GEO files or publishing new content to measure your progress.
